so many tips about weddings that she should write
a book. (Judy loves to give advice) So-ooo read

Judy's
Advice!
We
filmed at a wedding recently where there was a
wonderful wedding coordinator. I don't think
enough brides consider what they can do for you.
She made the bride and groom's wishes
come true in what they had envisioned for their
special day. The couple could relax &
enjoy all their family and friends and not have to
worry about all the little details. We were both
impressed how hard the Coordinator's crew worked
and yet nobody was frantic getting all the details
done. (There were alot of details!). The
Coordinator was Sonya Jennings at Sozoevent.com in
Ankeny. They'll do as much or as little as you
want. Very impressive!

Art Paintings - Giclee'
Our
Giclee' (jeeclay) paintings have been a great hit
since we introduced them just late last year. We
now offer a "Classic Renaissance",
"Watercolor" and a "Wedding
Collage" in moderate or extreme complexity
ranges to suit your budget. The one shown here is
a "Classic Renaissance" on stretched
canvas at just $250! It's a unique heirloom that
honors your Wedding Day.
It's easy to order. Just let us know you might
like one and we produce it with no obligation to
buy! Be sure to visit the "Photo & Art
Gallery" in the quick links. We've just
started a collection of art for sale. Watch for
Las Vegas and Des Moines art coming soon.

Hey,
check out Rangefinder Magazine for the month of
May! Rangefinder is a magazine focused on the
Wedding and Portrait Photographer. You'll see us
mentioned on page 76 with a photo from one of our
albums. It also talks about the quality of the
album we use. I'll include a link here to their
online
article.
This is the same Bride that you see
above in the painting too!
We now have a 10x8 size available as a parents
album along with inserts in the front cover as
you'll see in the article!

Productions - Slide Shows or Passages
Slide Shows have become very popular at wedding
Receptions. Slide Shows show the Bride &
Groom growing up through engagement and often show
relatives and friends along the way. Some couples
show the Slide Show in a loop playing over and
over as guests are walking in and other's show it
as a one-time show.
We have a wedding coming up that the Bride is
going to have us play their Engagement Slide Show
in a loop for guests as they arrive at the
Reception and then later we'll show the
"growing up" Slide Show they had us
produce after the toasts. We always make a short
slide show out of the Engagement Photos and
include it as a surprise on the Engagement DVD.
(don't tell anyone)
If you're producing a Slide Show yourself we have
some tips:
1.Keep it short. Less is more. We recommend 60-70
photos.
2.Make sure someone has tested the movie first on
the equipment and is ready to start it when the
time is right.
3.Use photos that the faces can be plainly seen.
4.Edit the music to sync up with the photos.
5.Keep the photo on the screen for a short time.
We can produce slide shows for $199 but if you
want something very cool and different than the
traditional slide show you need to check out
"Passages".
Passages is different for everyone. It's very hard
to describe. You have to see one. You can be as
creative as you want or leave it to us. More
on "Passages" stories next month.
